Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 25, 2026
This policy explains what information Yanza Brokerage Group LLC collects through yanzabrokeragegroup.com, why I collect it, who sees it, and the choices you have. When this page says "I" or "me", it means Yanza Brokerage Group LLC, the insurance brokerage I own and run from Ronkonkoma, New York.
I wrote it in plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, email me and I will answer in English or Spanish.
Connecting your insurance company (Canopy Connect)
If you choose to connect your current insurance company instead of sending documents, that step is handled by Canopy Connect, a third-party insurance data service. You sign in on your insurance company's own page. I never see, receive or store your carrier username or password.
With your permission, the service returns the coverage information needed to quote you: policy details, limits, deductibles, premiums, declarations pages and other policy documents, listed drivers and their dates of birth, vehicles and VINs, property details, lienholders, and claims history. Depending on your insurance company, it may also return driver's license numbers. Exactly which fields come back varies by company.
I use that information to prepare your quote and to service a policy you buy through me, and for nothing else. You can disconnect it at any time through Canopy Connect, and you can email me to ask that I delete what I received.
- You authorize the connection, not me, and you choose whether to make it at all
- Sending a photo of your declarations page gives me the same information
- Canopy Connect handles this data under its own privacy terms, as our service provider
Who I am
Yanza Brokerage Group LLC is a licensed insurance brokerage in the State of New York. The broker is Anthony Yanza Tomala, Licensed Insurance Broker, State of New York, NY license 1986535, NPN 22297253.
Office: 1951 Ocean Ave, Suite 4, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779. Email: contact@yanzabrokeragegroup.com. Phone and text: (631) 823-7630.
What I collect
Most of what I collect, you type into the quote form or send me by text, WhatsApp, email or phone. I ask for what an insurance company needs to price a policy and nothing more.
- Contact details: your name, mobile phone number, email address, ZIP code, and how and in what language you prefer to be reached.
- Insurance details: the coverage you want (auto, home, renters, condo, landlord, business, life), whether you are insured today, your current insurance company, your renewal date, and any notes you add about vehicles, drivers, property or your trade.
- Optional documents: a photo or PDF of your current policy or declarations page, if you choose to upload or send one.
- Later in the process, the information an insurance company requires to issue a policy, such as driver's license details, vehicle identification numbers, property details or business information. I collect those directly from you, not through the website.
- Technical data: the pages you visit, your browser and device type, approximate location from your IP address, and the time of your visit. The company that hosts this site and its forms records some of this automatically.
- Analytics: if I turn on website analytics, it collects anonymous usage data so I can see which pages help people. I do not use analytics to identify you by name.
What I do not ask for on the website
The quote form does not ask for your Social Security number, date of birth, driver's license number, or bank or card numbers. You do not need a Social Security number to request a quote. Many of the companies I work with quote drivers without one, and I will tell you which ones apply to you.
How I use your information
I use what you share for the reasons below and no others.
- To prepare your insurance quotes and compare options from the companies I work with.
- To contact you about your request by phone, text, WhatsApp or email, in the way you chose and consented to.
- To apply for, issue, renew, change and service your policies once you decide to move forward.
- To answer your questions and keep the records that New York requires a licensed broker to keep.
- To understand how the website is used and fix what is not working.
Who I share it with
I do not sell your personal information. I do not rent it or trade it. I share it only in the situations below.
- Insurance companies and the quoting platforms they use, so they can price and issue coverage. Each company has its own privacy notice that applies once you apply with them.
- Service providers that help me run the business: the company that hosts this website and its forms, email and calendar tools, and messaging tools. They may process your data only to provide their service to me.
- Regulators, courts or law enforcement when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of my clients, my business or others.
- A buyer or successor if the brokerage is ever sold or merged. Your information would stay protected under a policy at least as strict as this one.
Text messages: consent and how to stop
When you check the consent box on the quote form, or you text (631) 823-7630 first, you agree that Yanza Brokerage Group LLC may send you text messages about your quote, your policies and related service, including messages sent with automated technology. Here is what that means in practice.
- Message frequency varies. Expect a few messages while we work on your quote, then occasional service or renewal messages.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. You will get one final message confirming you are opted out. Reply START to opt back in.
- Reply HELP for help, or contact me at contact@yanzabrokeragegroup.com or (631) 823-7630.
- Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying any product or service. You can get a quote by phone or email instead.
- Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your text message opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties. The service providers that deliver my messages process your number only to do that.
Documents you upload or send me
A photo of your declarations page is the fastest way to get an accurate quote. I use uploaded documents only to prepare your quote and set up your policy. I delete them when they are no longer needed for that purpose or for records I am required to keep.
Please do not upload or text a Social Security card, passport, bank statement or payment card. If a document shows a Social Security number or another number you would rather not share, cover it or crop it before you send it. A declarations page with your name, address, vehicles or property, coverages and premium is all I need to start.
If you send documents by WhatsApp, WhatsApp's own privacy terms also apply.
How long I keep it
If you become a client, I keep your records for as long as your policy is active and for the period New York insurance regulations require after it ends. If you request a quote and do not move forward, I keep your request long enough to follow up and to meet record-keeping rules, then delete it or anonymize it.
You can ask me to delete your information sooner. See the choices section below.
How I protect it
I maintain reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards for your private information, consistent with New York's SHIELD Act. In practice that means encrypted connections to this website, limited and password-protected access to form submissions and client files, and sending documents to insurance companies through their own secure systems whenever they offer them.
No website or email system is perfectly secure. If a security incident ever affects your private information, I will notify you as New York law requires.
Your choices
Email contact@yanzabrokeragegroup.com from the address you gave me, or text (631) 823-7630 from your phone number, and I can do any of the following. I may ask a question or two to confirm it is you.
- Tell you what information I have about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
- Delete your information, except what I must keep by law or need to service an active policy.
- Stop texting or emailing you. For texts, replying STOP is enough. For email, reply and ask, or use the unsubscribe link when one is included.
Children
This website and my services are for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent me information, email me and I will delete it.
Links to other sites and tools
This site links to tools I do not control, including Google Calendar for booking appointments, WhatsApp for messaging, and Google Maps for directions. Each has its own privacy policy. Read it before you use the tool. I am not responsible for how those services handle your information.
Changes to this policy
When I change this policy, I update the date at the top of this page. If a change meaningfully affects how I use information you already gave me, I will tell you by email or text before it takes effect.
