Car insurance in Brentwood, from a broker who answers in Spanish or English
New license, new car, a lapse you need to fix, or a truck you use for work. I shop every company I work with, I explain the coverage in plain language, and I do it over text or WhatsApp if that is easier than coming in.

Brentwood runs on Suffolk Avenue. The pupuserias, bakeries, tire shops, tax offices and used-car lots along Suffolk Avenue, from Fifth Avenue east toward Central Islip, are where the community does business, and the Sagtikos, the Southern State and the LIE are how it gets to work. A lot of that work happens in a pickup with a ladder rack or a van full of tools, which means the line between personal and commercial insurance matters here more than almost anywhere else on Long Island.
The houses are mostly capes and ranches on tight lots, bought one paycheck at a time and often shared across two or three generations. Many have a finished basement and, where the town has approved it, a legal accessory apartment with a tenant downstairs. Renters fill in the rest of the picture, from rooms near Brentwood State Park and the community college on Crooked Hill Road to apartments off Washington Avenue. Each of those situations needs a different policy, and the wrong one leaves you paying out of pocket after a fire, a burst pipe or a lawsuit.
I work this corridor every week and I know what the first question usually is: can I get insured with a new license, with no insurance history, or without a Social Security number? The honest answer is that it depends on the company, and that is exactly why you want a broker instead of one carrier's counter. Many of the companies I work with quote drivers without an SSN, and I will tell you which ones apply to you before you hand over a single document.
Coverage
What I insure in Brentwood
Each line below opens its own page. Pick the one that fits your situation, or just text me and I will sort it out with you.
Car insurance in Brentwood
New drivers licensed under the Green Light law, drivers coming off a lapse, families adding a teenager, someone buying a car off a Suffolk Avenue lot today. I quote every company I work with, I explain why New York's 25/50/10 minimum is rarely enough, and I get your insurance ID card to your phone so the DMV and the dealer have what they need. Many of the companies I work with quote without a Social Security number, and I will tell you which.
Insurance for Brentwood contractors
Framers, roofers, siding crews, masons, painters, landscapers and cleaning companies. General liability so the GC lets you on site, commercial auto for the truck and trailer, coverage for the tools that live in the van, and workers' comp, DBL and Paid Family Leave the day you hire your first helper. New York's Scaffold Law makes some of this expensive, and I read every exclusion with you before you sign.
Home insurance
Capes and ranches with finished basements, oil tanks, older roofs and, where approved, a legal rental unit. I compare replacement cost, liability limits and the deductibles that actually fit your budget, and I check whether a tenant downstairs changes anything about your policy. Flood is a separate policy, and I will tell you if your street needs one.
Renters insurance
If you rent a room, a basement apartment or a whole house, the landlord's policy covers the building, not your furniture, your tools, your electronics or a lawsuit if a guest gets hurt. An HO-4 renters policy is a small line item, and pricing it together with your auto policy is something I always do.
Business insurance on Suffolk Avenue
Restaurants, bakeries, salons, tire shops, multiservicios, daycares, delis and the lots that sell cars. Property, liability, workers' comp and disability, and the certificates your landlord or the town asks for. I write the policy around the way your business actually runs, not around a template.

Questions
Questions people text me
In most cases, yes. New York's Green Light law lets every resident of the state apply for a standard license, and for a quote your license is a license. What companies look at is driving history, and a brand-new driver with no insurance history usually pays more than someone with years of clean record. Prices for new drivers differ a lot from company to company, which is why I shop all of mine instead of sending you to one counter.
